Bold, brave, passionate, energetic, and vibrant…these are all valuable qualities we found from these sanda athletes who were participating Wushu Sanda Championship of Beijing Amateur Sports School. At 11:00 am, June 9, 2012, the championship came to conclusion in the training hall of the general school of Beijing Shaolin Wushu School!

This championship was organized by the Youth Sports Department of Beijing Sports Bureau and undertaken by Beijing Wushu Institute. Mr. Fu Biao, UN Friendly Messenger, vice president of Chinese Wushu Association, president of International Kungfu Federation; Dean of Beijing Wushu Institute Cheng Chunhe, secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Wushu Institute Peng Hong , vice dean of Beijing Wushu Institute Zhang Youfeng, officer of the Youth Sports Department of Beijing Sports Bureau Zhu Yansong, and chief referee of this championship Zhang Xingzheng and other leaders were attending the championship. The opening ceremony was chaired by Zhou Jiandong who was director of office of Beijing Wushu Institute.

The competition was divided into four groups including Men's Group A who were born during January 1, 1994 to December 31, 1995; Men's Group B who were born during January 1, 1996 to December 31, 1997); Women's Group A who were born during January 1, 1994 to December 31, 1995 and Women's Group B who were born during January 1, 1996 to December 31, 1997. Men's Group A’s competition was held in the following categories: 48 kg, 52 kg, 56 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 85 kg, 90 kg and +90 kg. Women's Group A’s competition was held in these categories of 48 kg, 52 kg, 56 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg and 70 kg. Women’s Group B’s competition was held in the following categories: 45 kg, 48 kg, 52 kg, 56 kg, 60 kg and 65kg.
